Hi! I have a problem with my Xbox, I recently get a code for the Xbox Gamepass Ultimate, it work correctly but when I want to proceed to the final step, it say that I need a credit card to finalize my "transaction" but only problem is, I don't have credit card, and my parents don't want to put their credit card on my Xbox, soooo I'm stuck... Can I avoid this problem? Maybe is an  options on my Microsoft account or on my Xbox directly? Thanks for your future answer 🙂 (I hope you will answer me 👉👈)

Hello, being as though Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a monthly service plan it will ask for a credit card for future payment. So it's no way around that. Ask parents to use a credit card only once and then you can take off the reoccurring monthly payment and remove the credit card right after.

Hi, I am an xbox member for a while now. This is what I will do with no credit card. You can go to any store that sells xbox money gift cards. I think they are available in £20 or £50 value. Once you buy what you need then redeem the code(s) to your account. Your account balance will reflect the new money, this can now be used to purchase your xbox game pass ultimate membership. Hope this helps you!!👍😊

Hi, if I understand correctly you are trying to add a prepaid code that you’ve got from websites like CD keys.com etc? If so, you don’t need to put a new credit card details, just a code. Check below for step-by-step how to do it and let me know if it works.

  • Sign in to your Xbox console (make sure you’re signed in with the Microsoft account you want to redeem the code with).
  • From the Home screen, select and open the Store app. (If the Store app is not displayed, go to My games & apps, select Apps, and select the Store app from there.)
  • In the Store app, move the cursor left or press the View button  on the controller to open the side menu.
  • From that menu, select Redeem.
  • Enter 25-character code, and then follow the prompts. Don’t worry about hyphens, the system takes care of those for you.

Hi Suzan, I follow your example step by step and works! I’ve got no idea why it was asking me for credit card details??Maybe because I was going through the Xbox Microsoft account via laptop? Most important works now. #girlspower ♥️
