If you will go from oneS to seriesS it’s not really an upgrade😜. I will say more like a downgrade then. You not only loosing possibility to play from discs but also loosing a storage. Series S it’s a new gen console for people who want to go for they first Xbox console, kids, parents etc. I can see only one option for you-seriesX🤩.

Do simple math, new series S cost $299 plus you will go for memory card upgrade $220. You will need it as you will end up with 300Gb memory and with AAA games it will be enough for few only. Now, new Xbox series X cost $499 so on the end of the day you are saving $20, you’ve got latest, top console, can read discs and you’ve got enough memory for games.
Series S it’s more like an i”new gen introduction” console for newbies.

Now after I read all you messages actually I can see that series X will be a better choice. Or maybe wait for another generation Xbox console if I’m ok with current one S and games that are still compatible? Sorry for silly questions but I want to check every opinion before a big purchase.

@Thamas its not even about the games now, its about better console and technology. I personally will upgrade to series X as series S its definatelly to weak. No disc, no memory. even if you will go for ordinary external hard drive you will spend easily $100(then will need to transfer games every time) so why not to add another $100 and enjoy a proper top console. Only series X my friend.
