Controller buttons meaning.

Hi guys, Since I’m with Xbox I was wondering what the shortcuts on the front paddles mean? RT, RB, LT, LB ?

I thought that Right Top etc, however it’s make no sense as the Right Top it’s located on the bottom below the RB?

I thought as well that will be right top, left bottom etc, but it’s true that make no sense as the RB it’s placed on the top? 🤔

I know it’s make no sense, however it’s mean something different. 
RT-Right Trigger (right bottom-trigger)

RB-Right Button( right top-button)

and exactly this same on the left side. 
Now when you mentioned the left/right top/bottom it will make more sense for me-maybe need to contact with Xbox designing team?...but it’s a trigger and button I’m afraid 😟
