Hi guys and sorry if this is the wrong section but I wasn’t sure. I’m not sure as well how to describe my issue, but will try my best.
My menu selections moving up itself without any touches of the controller. I mean I’m not touching anything and it’s moving itself. It a way to fix it or I need to change something in settings?

Hi @Johny , ok, it’s looks like a faulty “thumb stick analog”. When the thumb stick goes wrong you will see controller drifting itself in different directions, have you experience any drifting in the games while playing or only menu?

The easiest way is to replace for the new analog that you can buy for few pounds.

Its must be an analog stick, its easy to replace it so don't worry to much. I can send you clip or step by step instruction how to do it. Which controller it is?

@Johny definitely drifting stick. And replacement is very easy to do. Before you will take your controller apart it’s worth to check if it’s still on the warranty? Yea 🤝

The people above have described everything to you well.

I will add from me that it is worth paying attention to how you move the stick, because it can be easily damaged especially when playing shooters.

Thank you, yeah it’s looks like a stick. @NiesberkPLツ I’m playing a lots of shooters.  The controller run out warranty last year so I’m looking to get the new one or do a DIY repair.
So I need two things:

1.Where I can get a good quality analogs and not to pricey?

2. Instruction how to do it?

So you can send it for repair for around £40-50 here ⤵️
https://www.ubermicro.co.uk/product/xbox-one-elite-series-2-controller-mail-in-repair/

or you can buy an pair of analogs(always replace both) and do it yourself.
2x new analogs you will find here.⤵️

And for instruction probably YT video will help. ⤵️

But before you do this it’s still worth to clean rounded surface around the thumbstick with cotton nut and alcohol( sometimes the dirt will make it sticky in certain position)

Good luck and let us know how it’s goes.

Write new topic as people will be more interested if they see a new title. Explain as well if you tried anything and in the meantime connect controller via USB and check for any updates.
