Xbox account-“Sorry, there’s a problem with the credentials that you’re using to sign in”

Last last night after changing my password and log in with correct details my Account stopped working. There is a message that says “Sorry, there’s a problem with the credentials that you’re using to sign in. Go to https://account.live.com to fix the problem”

What could be the problem?

It’s likely that you are misspelling your new password or you have tried to chance it to many times, if so that will trigger the warning flag on your account and they need to check few details with you. Follow the link and let us know how it’s goes. 

I went there and showed me the Microsoft website, what now? I was away so now we have time to deal with it. 

@Roxxane click on the top right corner avatar, then try to log in to your account. If it’s still something wrong with your password go to sign-in options to remind your username, then sign in and click forget  password

@Mahmoud I used this, I think I wasn't sure how the password was made, probably used some uppercase letters etc so I used this recovery password option. But remember you must do it on the PC, not console.
