Wifi issue with Xbox series S

👋, I don’t know why but quite often I’m loosing internet connection in my series S. The WiFi signal is strong as the router is next to the console, any other devices are connected without any issues, it’s just the console dropping the signal sometimes. 
What to do, any advice?

If your router is next to the console why you not using direct cable-Ethernet?

ok@CrazonX1 , this is the reset network sequence and should erase old setups. After that try to set up new wifi connection.

Pls let me know if it works?

• Press the Guide button on your controller, and navigate to System > Settings > Network > Network settings.
• Select Advanced settings.
• Select Alternate MAC address.
• Select Clear.
• Select Restart.

@CrazyGirlx I always thought that wi fi will  be as strong as the Ethernet if its next to the console?

I have done the reset of network settings and atm no issues @ edjazoli25 .

@CrazonX1 With WiFi you will only get 50% of the max speed. Better go with hard wire.

Hi guys, so I reset the network settings and connected my router via Ethernet cable. So far 😊 so good. As well I have changed the power mode to stand-by .
