What accessories I need with new xbox series X?

Planning to grab a Series X on sale as a gift for my husband's birthday. What do I need to get to make sure it's easy to set up and ready to play right away?

I plan on getting an extra controller, 1 year Xbox live, £100-£150 gift card to the digital store for games. I still haver an extra £300 to spend so looking for ideas??

He will most likely use it to play cod with his buddies, should I grab a head set as well?
Also, I'm looking for fun competitive game recommendations. Normally we are enjoying karting, super smash bros, little big planet, and things like that.

Wow, nice budget tbh, can you be my wife for a bit😜?

So personally I will go for Xbox series x as you planing, then Xbox Elite 2 controller ( he will love it plus it’s an answer for first clue in the game) then go for XGP Ultimate and Xbox wireless headset. It will be enough, but if you have any leftovers you could be a super great wife and go for extra Xbox expansion card 1T.

Xbox live = Ultimate?

 

R u talking about Xbox original wireless headset?

And what is this expansion card, can he simply connect any hard drive?

Love Elite 2 controller and yes, will add it to the bundle.

You can go for Gold or Ultimate, recommending Ultimate as that will give your husband access to over 100 free games. Then you will get all the competitive games as well. 
@Blobby put a fair opinion and nice bundle for you. I would go as well for those accessories etc

Xbox Live możesz mieć zarówno z Gold jak i Ultimate, polecam Ultimate bo z nim masz dużo darmowych gier nie tylko xboxa ale też EA. 
Polecam też bezprzewodowy zestaw słuchawkowy Xbox. 
I na koniec, pytasz się o kartę pamięci. Pewnie że możesz używać zwykłego dysku zewnetrznego ale będzie on służył tylko do przechowywania gier gdzie oryginalna karta pamięci nie tylko będzie przechowywała gry ale będziesz mogła również grać bezpośrednio z karty- na dysku już tego nie zrobisz.

@becon42 So i have ordered series X console, extra Elite 2 controller, Xbox Wireless Headset and Ultimate XGP for 12 months.

Ive got as well 1T expansion card as you guys recommended and Xbox gift card for £200 for games.

Everything should arrive on Wednesday.
