Sorry to bother you again, but it’s true that my nephew will need a Xbox live? to play Fortnite and games online?

So what is the game pass and live? Its true that game pass include live already?

Hi Suzan.
You need either Xbox Live or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to play online. If you buy Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, apart from Xbox Live you also get access to over 100 games.

Before I continue just a quick advice, if you will register with us you will have access to chat, personal messages and more.

Now, Yes, you need Xbox Live to play/connect/chat online with another players especially with games like Fortnite, CoD etc.

At the moment the best option is to get Xbox Ultimate as @Xbox Teammentioned especially with current deal £1 for 3months, after that you will go on standard price or alternatively you’ll be able to use a codes for top up.
